Driving in Casablanca: practical tips
Traffic in Casablanca can be heavy during rush hours (7:30-9:30 am and 5-7:30 pm), especially on main roads such as Boulevard Zerktouni and the urban motorway. Outside these hours, driving is smooth. Plenty of guarded car parks are available downtown (15-30 MAD/hour).
Mohammed V Airport is located 30 km south of Casablanca, about 30-45 minutes away depending on traffic. The A3 motorway connects the airport directly to the city centre. For intercity journeys, the Moroccan motorway network is modern and well maintained, with reasonable tolls.
